The Parable of The Rich Man and Lazarus
Live Zoom Worship Today @ 10:00am!
Contact us for the Zoom link.
What is the main contrast between the two men in Jesus' parable? What is the theological significance of this?
Abraham says to the rich man in hell in verse 25 of our text, “...Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things...” Truthfully, what is your "highest good(s)" in this life? When these good things are put in jeopardy, how does it make you feel and why?
Jesus teaches us in our Scripture that hell is a place of two things? What are they?
In what ways do you try to move away from God? In what ways are you rebelling against him right now by rationalizing the choices you are making? If you persist and persist in this kind of superficial, empty life here on earth, what, then, is hell?
Why should the doctrine of hell make you feel more loved and more valued by God? Reflect upon the sheer disintegration of sin and God's justice which Jesus bore on the cross for you.
