One small church living God's big plan

Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19, we are suspending our physical worship service and will hold worship online. Details of how to view the worship will be shared soon.

In making this  decision, we are closely following guidance from public health officials and operating out of an abundance of caution. Please continue to pray for God's healing hand during this time.

Judging Others

Matthew 7:1-6

Live Zoom Worship Today @ 10:00am!

Reflection Questions:

  1. Have you ever experienced someone use Matthew 7:1, "Judge not, that you be not judged" as a defensive "weapon" against you when you tried to gently confront them about their sin? Give an example.

  2. Jesus teaches us that "cutting" another person out of our lives entirely is tantamount to "judging others." Have you experienced this in your own life? Is it ever appropriate to end a relationship?

  3. Do you agree that gossiping is one of the worst manners of "judging others"? Give examples from the work place? The church? Circle of friends?

  4. How is remembering the gospel an antidote to judging others? Does "grace and truth" describe the relationships in your life?
